Science shows that various micronutrients and natural plant components are of utmost importance for supporting the function of the eyes: micronutrients are required for the cells building our eyes; for the optic nerve that carries the light signals from the cells of the eye to the brain; for the (ciliary) muscle cells that stretch and relax to control the focus of the lens; for the blood vessels responsible for supplying the eyes with oxygen and nutrients.
